NEW CASSEL, LONG ISLAND – A Bronx man is under arrest after authorities said he was involved in two separate crashes while driving a stolen vehicle.

According to LongIsland.com, 29-year-old George Drummer is facing multiple criminal charges in connection with the incident.  It happened March 2 in the area of Old County Road and Post Avenue in New Cassell.

Authorities said Drummer was driving a Toyota Tundra at about 3 p.m. when he crashed into a Toyota Camry.  A 20-year-old woman driving the Camry suffered minor injuries while a 6-year-old female passenger was not injured.

Drummer left the scene and was taken into custody later in a Westbury parking lot without incident, according to investigators.  It was later determined that the Tundra had been stolen from a parking lot in New Cassel and that Drummer had been involved in a previous crash with an unoccupied parked Infiniti before leaving the scene.

The charges against Drummer include grand larceny, driving while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of an incident.
