What Is The National Trial Lawyers?

The organization only extends membership by invitation to a few attorneys from each state or region. Selection occurs through a multi-phase process that involves peer nomination and third-party evaluation.

About Stuart L. Finz

Stuart L. Finz is the senior trial attorney and CEO of Finz & Finz, P.C. Stuart has built a reputation over his extensive legal career for excellent negotiation and trial skills, having secured record-breaking multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts. Stuart obtained the first jury verdict in New York against Philip Morris USA on behalf of a smoker who contracted lung cancer, holding the company accountable for marketing strategies designed to addict smokers.

Stuart also served on the New York State Plaintiffs DES Liaison Committees, where he pursued compensation for women whose children developed cancer due to in-utero exposure to DES. For over 30 years, Stuart has worked hard to protect victims’ rights and promote public health and safety. New York Super Lawyers named him the state’s top personal injury trial attorney from 2007 through 2020. He has also received a lifetime membership to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

About Brandon S. Finz

Brandon S. Finz is an associate attorney with Finz & Finz, P.C. He entered the legal profession following the example set by his father, Stuart L. Finz, Finz & Finz, P.C.’s senior trial attorney and CEO, and his grandfather, the Honorable Leonard L. Finz, a former New York State Supreme Court Justice who has been peer-reviewed as one of America’s preeminent trial lawyers.

Before joining Finz & Finz, P.C., Brandon worked as an associate attorney at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where he represented leading national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and hedge funds such as J.P. Morgan, Blackstone, The Carlyle Group, Verizon, WeWork, and Pacific Life. Brandon joined the team at Finz & Finz, P.C. to fulfill his passion for helping individuals needing legal representation, including those injured by mass torts and medical malpractice.

Brandon graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served on the editorial staff of The Tax Lawyer, the country’s premier peer-reviewed tax law journal.
