Finz & Finz, P.C. – Our History
We opened our doors in 1984. The Honorable Leonard L. Finz, a former New York State Supreme Court Justice who was peer-reviewed as one of America’s pre-eminent trial lawyers, created what is now Finz & Finz, P.C. to help those who need it the most. He was inspired by a strong desire to help injured victims and grieving family members overcome the odds when battling the giants of the insurance, medical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing fields.
Our creed began as a desire to protect victims of negligent acts, medical malpractice, and defective products. Over the past four decades, this creed has only flourished. We demand that our clients receive their fullest measure of justice, and we never back down from a challenge.
Leonard passed away in February of 2023. His son, Stuart L. Finz, proudly carries on his legacy as the Senior Partner, Trial Attorney, and CEO of the firm. He continues to steadfastly believe in the firm’s ongoing mission:
“To assist those who suffer tragic injuries through the neglect of others, and to ensure that full justice must always be our goal on their behalf.”
