If you are selected to join the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, that means you are one of your state’s or region’s top trial lawyers under the age of 40. This distinction is reserved for attorneys under 40 who have achieved notable trial results and showcased remarkable leadership skills in criminal defense or civil plaintiff law.

This is Brandon’s second year as one of the Top 40 Under 40 lawyers. He is an associate attorney with Finz & Finz, P.C.
Brandon’s legal career is fueled by a strong desire to help others. He builds upon the legacy established by his father, Stuart L. Finz (Senior Trial Attorney and CEO of Finz & Finz, P.C), and grandfather, Leonard L. Finz (former New York State Supreme Court Justice who has been peer reviewed as one of America’s preeminent trial lawyers). Brandon focuses his practice on a wide range of personal injury litigation, including complex torts and medical malpractice. Before joining the firm, he was an associate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. While there, he represented leading national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and hedge funds.
Brandon graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctor Cum Laude. While there, he worked on the editorial staff of the premier peer-reviewed tax law journal, The Tax Lawyer.
In 2021, two of the cases that Brandon worked on with Finz & Finz, P.C.were named among the Top Personal Injury Settlements in the country by Top Verdict.
In addition to being named one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, Brandon has received recognition from New York Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star,” from Best Lawyers as “One to Watch,” and from Lawyers of Distinction.
