Finz & Finz, P.C. is honored to announce that we earned several of the top personal injury settlements throughout New York State in 2022. One settlement was one of the largest 10 in the State, two were in the top 20, and nine were in the top 50.
The announcement was made by TopVerdict, which publishes the largest verdicts and settlements in each state and across the country each year.
Top New York State Personal Injury Settlements
The firm’s top settlement of 2022, which ranked as the seventh-highest personal injury settlement in New York State, was brought by a pedestrian against a property owner. This slip and fall work accident case ended in a $4 million settlement on behalf of a deserving client.
The firm’s second-highest ranking settlement of 2022, which was the 20th highest personal injury settlement in New York, was another pedestrian v. property owner claim involving a trip and fall and failure to maintain a safe area of the property. The result: a $1,500,000 settlement for the plaintiff.
Our other top-ranking settlements on the list involved car accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability claims against property owners and nursing home negligence.
