Lisa Griffith
Lisa Griffith is a legal nurse consultant at Finz & Finz, P.C., with more than 23 years of practical nursing experience. Ms. Griffith’s distinguished career enables her to evaluate and analyze complex medical issues for the firm’s medical practice clients in order to determine whether a departure from good and accepted medical practice has occurred – a fundamental precondition to medical malpractice litigation. Ms. Griffith is particularly adept at assessing medical malpractice cases involving birth injuries, strokes, heart conditions and failure to diagnose cancer.
Ms. Griffith earned her stripes at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where she worked alongside world-class doctors and nurses in the industry-leading oncology medical surgical unit. She also worked at St. Francis Hospital, where she treated and cared for patients with a wide variety of heart conditions as a cardiac nurse. She later transitioned to Mercy Medical Center, serving as a labor and delivery nurse, before working as a case manager at Northwell Health. Ms. Griffith’s extensive hands-on medical training, coupled with her unique ability to connect with and help others, enables her to not only provide comfort and assistance to each of the firm’s clients, many of whom have suffered profoundly due to medical malpractice, but also to provide insight into medical-legal theories of liability in order to maximize results on their behalf.
When Ms. Griffith is not striving to achieve justice on behalf of the firm’s clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, particularly during her children’s travel sporting events.
