Yakov Markowitz

Yakov Markowitz is dedicated to helping his clients in their greatest time of need, and he is committed to righting the wrongs they have suffered through the negligence of others. With nearly two decades of advocacy experience, Mr. Markowitz joined Finz & Finz, P.C. as of counsel to assist those who have suffered tragic injury through no fault of their own.

Mr. Markowitz began his career as an arbitrator, where he gained broad litigation experience and a refined ability to analyze complex legal issues. His thorough analysis, together with a distinctively creative approach, has been recognized in confirmed arbitration awards by courts throughout the United States. Although Mr. Markowitz was and still remains a skilled and highly sought-after arbitrator, he now focuses his extensive knowledge and experience on assisting those who have suffered injuries in obtaining the justice that they deserve.

Mr. Markowitz is a passionate and fierce advocate. He believes that every injured individual deserves an attorney who will fight on their behalf, and that is precisely what he does. Mr. Markowitz received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and his undergraduate degree from Excelsior College. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
