Breyanna Aufiero
Breyanna Aufiero has been a Registered Nurse since 2017, bringing diverse clinical experience to her work as a Legal Nurse Consultant. Her nursing career began after competing as a collegiate gymnast at Utah State University, where she developed the discipline, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure that continue to shape her professional practice.
Breyanna’s clinical background spans multiple areas of healthcare, including cardiac intensive care, critical care, mental health and eating-disorder care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked as a travel nurse across multiple states, providing critical-care support to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country during an unprecedented time of need. This experience strengthened her ability to quickly assess complex clinical situations, adapt to different healthcare environments, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Her experience also includes working with New York State’s Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), conducting home visits and evaluating patients within their home environments. In addition, Breyanna has experience as a Utilization Review Nurse within the insurance industry, providing valuable insight into medical necessity, clinical documentation, utilization management, and healthcare decision-making.
Outside of her professional career, Breyanna enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and has a passion for travel, culture, and experiencing new environments. She considers herself a lifelong learner and is committed to continuous personal and professional growth. She actively seeks opportunities to expand her perspective and develop her skills, whether through business, professional education, or personal-development communities. Her curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to growth continue to influence both her professional work and the way she approaches new challenges.
