SHIRLEY, NY – Jordan Randolph, the 40-year-old Bellport man accused of killing a 27-year-old in a drunk driving crash on Sunday, was released from jail under a new bail reform law. A Nassau county judge, however, has now issued a warrant for his immediate arrest after hearing about the charges in Suffolk County. According to authorities, Randolph was already facing charges of driving without an interlock device and driving without a license in Nassau County.
Randolph was driving his vehicle on William Floyd Parkway when he rear-ended another vehicle just south of Rose Executive Boulevard. The other driver, Jose Armand Flores Maldonado, died of his injuries at a nearby hospital. Randolph now faces a DWI charge in Suffolk County in addition to his charges in Nassau County.
