One Severely Injured in Freak Accident on George Washington Bridge


NEW YORK,  NY – One driver was severely injured following a freak accident on the George Washington Bridge on Monday morning. According to NBC New York, a piece of debris smashed through the driver’s windshield, leaving them with a serious head injury that necessitated a trip to the hospital.

The driver was traveling on the westbound side of the bridge. Authorities believe that the object came out from the undercarriage of a truck before slamming into the driver’s windshield.
