Five Dead, Dozens Injured in Pileup on the Pennsylvania Turnpike


PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE, PA – A charter bus was carrying passengers from New York City to Columbus, Ohio when it struck an enbankment on the Pennslyvania Turnpike around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday morning. The crash caused a chain-reaction that involved several cars and three tractor-trailers.

Five people were killed on impact, and sixty people were injured. At least nine of those injured were minors. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
