Elderly Woman Killed by Cement Truck in Brooklyn


BROOKLYN, NY – A sixty-eight-year old woman was hit by a cement truck in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning. According to authorities, the woman was crossing Utrecht Avenue right before 49th Street when the truck hit her.

The vehicle belonged to the Ferrara Company, a concrete business based in Flushing. The woman died from the injuries she sustained during the crash. This was the second fatal crash involving a truck on Tuesday.
