THE BRONX, NY – The snow lead to a massive car pile-up in the Bronx Expressway on Saturday. According to police, fifteen cars slid to a stop on the southbound lane of the Bronx River Parkway near East 233rd Street.
Eight people were injured in the collision — one with minor injuries, six with serious injuries, and one person left in critical condition. All injured were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. Traffic remained blocked on the parkway for hours after the accident as authorities cleared the scene.
