Laura Castel

Laura Castel is a Criminal Justice graduate of St. John’s University. She is a Paralegal at Finz & Finz, P.C., and manages the firm’s office calendar. As part of her responsibility as the Paralegal in charge of the office calendar, Laura sets up and confirms all court appearances, client meetings, depositions and mediations. Laura also prepares all of the firm’s Office of Court Administration filings, including retainer statements and closing statements. In addition, Laura oversees client liens, including Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA and worker’s compensation.

Laura and her husband Paul, a former New York City police officer who also works at Finz & Finz, P.C., as the firm’s lead private investigator and executive assistant to the partners, are avid sports enthusiasts who enjoy spending time with their three sons, and particularly love watching their youngest son play baseball.
