Jennie H. Chun
Jennie Chun is a litigation paralegal at Finz & Finz, P.C. Ms. Chun is a skilled draftsperson with more than 15 years of paralegal experience who is actively involved in all aspects of negligence litigation, including the preparation of pleadings and discovery demands and responses on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Ms. Chun has an expertise in infant and wrongful death compromise and plays an instrumental role when interfacing with New York’s surrogate courts during the prosecution of negligence and medical malpractice cases. Her refined analytical ability and knowledge of New York’s surrogate court legal requirements enable to her swiftly, efficiently and accurately draft the documents necessary to commence a lawsuit on behalf of the estate of a victim of wrongful death. She is also adept in drafting documents to facilitate the distribution of case proceeds following settlement.
Ms. Chun is an extraordinarily thoughtful and empathetic person who is deeply fulfilled by her work helping those who have suffered personal tragedy due to the neglect of others. She is also fluent in Korean and is an active member of New York’s Korean community – always advocating for full and fair representation on their behalf.
Ms. Chun was raised in Westchester, New York, and developed an early interest in the legal profession after interning at a local law firm while in high school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. In her spare time, Ms. Chun loves nothing more than spending special time with her family.
