Andrew Barovick
When the outcome matters most, proven skill and personal commitment are essential. For more than two decades, Andrew J. Barovick has advocated for individuals harmed by medical malpractice, pairing extensive courtroom experience with a steadfast dedication to accountability and results.
Andrew began his career in public service with the Queens District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted major felony cases and handled appellate matters before New York’s highest courts. That formative experience sharpened his trial abilities and deepened his resolve to stand up for people whose lives have been upended by wrongdoing.
He later moved into private practice, working with prominent firms on the defense side of medical malpractice litigation. There, he developed a comprehensive understanding of how complex cases are built and defended while also recognizing how easily injured individuals can feel overlooked in high-volume practices. Determined to assist those who have been harmed through no fault of their own, Andrew transitioned to the plaintiff’s side of medical malpractice and has never turned back. His work has produced substantial recoveries for clients affected by preventable medical errors and negligence, achieved through careful preparation and persuasive advocacy.
Andrew is also widely respected within the legal community for his contributions to the field. He has taught trial advocacy at Cardozo School of Law, lectured for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and writes extensively on developments in medical malpractice law. His insight and experience make him a valued authority for clients and attorneys alike.
