“In March of 2014, I was experiencing severe abdominal pain. I was brought to a hospital by ambulance where I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told to follow up with my GYN. Two days later I ended up in the same hospital with the exact same problem.

Without any of the proper testing being done, my diagnosis remained the same. After two weeks of experiencing the same severe pain I spiked a fever of 104. I then decided to visit a second hospital. After doing a CT scan there I was correctly diagnosed with acute diverticulitis with an abscess and perforation of the colon.
