Wrong Way Accident in Queens Kills Three

QUEENS, NY – A wrong-way crash early on Saturday in Queens killed three and left one severely injured. According to the New York Post, two victims have been identified as 36 year-old Sayquan Hallums and 26 year-old Megan Ann Smith. The cause of the crash has not been determined and is currently under investigation by NYPD.

The accident occurred in the westbound lane of the Grand Central Parkway close to the Cross Island Parkway exit. One car veered into oncoming traffic where another vehicle unsuccessfully attempted to avoid the collision. The accident caused a fire and shut down Grand Central Parkway in both directions.
