Woman Trapped Under SUV in Car Wreck in the Lower East Side


NEW YORK, NY – A group of bystanders saved a woman trapped underneath an SUV following an accident in the Lower East Side on Sunday. The woman was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Delancey and Norfolk Street and wound up underneath the SUV.

A video shows several people helping the woman from the car, attempting to tilt the car on its side to free her. The woman was eventually saved from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.
