QUEENS, NY – A multi-vehicle accident sent a car careening into a Queens storefront on Thursday morning.

The 45-year-old driver of a Lexus ES 350 was traveling on Jamaica Avenue when he ran a red light and crashed into a black Toyota Camry on the Van Wyck Expressway. The Lexus driver continued heading west on Jamaica Avenue before striking a white Honda minivan, which then crashed into a nearby check-cashing business.

The Lexus driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The two other drivers are reportedly in stable condition.

The crash is under investigation.
