UPDATE: Bus Driver Who Hit and Killed 10-year-old Girl Arrested


BROOKLYN, NY – The school bus driver who fatally hit a 10-year-old pedestrian has been arrested. Initially, police did not charge the driver, however, the driver, Pedro Colon has now been arrested. According to Streets Blog NYC, Colon has been charged with twice with failure to yield and twice with failure to exercise due care. He faces double charges since he also hit the girl’s brother. The crash took place yesterday morning near the intersection of Wortman Ave and Crescent St.
