Two individuals were sent to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze for treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Car Accidents and Bridges

New York is a city defined by its semi-independent boroughs, which are linked together by a series of bridges and tunnels. Many of these public works structures are aging and under regular construction, which makes traffic conditions around them potentially dangerous — especially during rush hour, as hundreds of thousands of people across the city squeeze across them on their way to work. This can be a perfect storm for traffic collisions
