Suffolk Police Car Hit by Driver Accused of Driving High, Without a License


HOLTSVILLE,  NY – On Tuesday, just before midnight, a driver, Robert Haff Jr., crashed into a parked Suffolk Police car on Nicolls Road. A police officer in the vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the accident. According to News12 Long Island, Haff admitted to taking meth before the crash and has multiple cases open against him as well as prior convictions. Haff has been charged with driving while impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and drug possession, he was released yesterday without having to pay bail.
