Stolen Meals on Wheels Vehicle Flips Over in Accident in Queens


QUEENS, NY – According to the director of Catholic Charities, one of their Meals on Wheels drivers was making a stop at an apartment building when his delivery truck was stolen. The stolen truck was then involved in an accident on 119th Avenue between 191st and 192nd streets around 11:30 AM on Wednesday.

The crash resulted in the truck being completely flipped over in front of a home and the destruction of a nearby mailbox. No one was seriously injured in the accident.

A man and woman are believed to be suspects in this case, but the man fled the scene of the accident.
