Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Skaneateles


SKANEATELES, NY – Finger Lakes 1 reports that a fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Sunday afternoon in Skaneateles, New York. The victim, 55-year old Michelle Frank, was struck while walking with a friend on the side of the road. The driver has been identified as 91-year old William Leubner, who was driving westbound on Hencoop Road when he hit Frank. Alcohol or other drugs have been ruled out as a factor. Frank was transferred to Auburn Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The investigation is continuing.
