Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Two Vehicles in Oakdale


OAKDALE, NY – On Friday afternoon, a pedestrian was struck and killed by two vehicles in Oakdale after attempting to cross the street. Authorities say 70-year-old George Collins was killed after being first struck by a 2018 Hyundai on the Sunrise Highway Service Road. After being hit, he fell into the road’s right lane and was hit by another car.

Both vehicles remained at the scene and were impounded for safety checks.
