One Killed in Subway Fire in Harlem


HARLEM, NY – 36-year-old Garrett Goble, a motorman for the MTA, was killed in a subway fire in Harlem early Friday morning.

The inside of a northbound #2 train was completely destroyed in the fire. The train reportedly pulled into the 110th Street Central Park North station around 3 AM.

Nine other people were injured in the incident. The NYPD has launched a criminal investigation into the fire.
