QUEENS, NY – A 21 year old man was killed in a strange accident yesterday when considering purchasing a used car. The victim, identified as Michael Kosanovich, was killed on Wednesday, December 11th at 148th Street and Foch Boulevard.
While looking at the vehicle, the owner, who was sitting inside, accidentally pushed the car’s remote ignition. The car moved forward and pinned Kosanovich between the vehicle fand another parked car. Bystanders were able to push the vehicle back, but it lurched forward and struck the victim again. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The police are continuing to investigate the accident, and we’ll report back with any updates as they are released.
