Man Killed in Wrong-Way Collision on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway

NEW YORK, NY — A 42-year-old driver was killed in a wrong-way collision on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway on Sunday night.

According to authorities, the victim was driving a 2005 Honda Accord when he entered the highway from an exit ramp at Exit 39W Queens Boulevard. Shortly thereafter, he collided head-first with a 2015 BMW. There were two occupants in the other vehicle, including a 33-year-old driver and 30-year-old passenger.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims reportedly suffered leg and rib injuries but are reported to be in stable condition.
