BROOKLYN, NY – A driver was shot and killed in a road-rage incident in Park Slope on Friday.

The victim, 31-year-old Dean Lawrence, was stopped at Sixth Avenue between First Street and Garfield Place at about 5 PM when another driver pulled over, walked up to Lawrence’s white Chevy sedan, and fired off four shots, apparently incensed at having been cut off in traffic. Police say the shooter got back into his vehicle, which had New Jersey plates, and drove off. He was still being sought as of Saturday.

Lawrence was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
