Driver Charged Following Fatal Accident in January


BROOKLYN, NY – A driver who hit and killed an elderly pedestrian on January 14th has been charged with failure to exercise due care and failure to yield to a pedestrian. Police found that the driver, Avraham Ederi, 22, turned onto 13th Ave while the victim, James Bright, 81, was crossing the street in the crosswalk with a green light. According to the NY Daily News, Bright died of his injuries in the hospital on January 23rd.
