Child Injured When SUV Crashes Into Subway Restaurant in Long Island

FARMINGDALE, NY – A child was injured when the driver of an SUV crashed into a Subway restaurant in Farmingdale, at the Boundary Plaza shopping mall on Saturday. The driver, Seung Kim, of Flushing, claimed that he was experiencing vehicle trouble and was unable to bring his vehicle to a stop before it crashed into the restaurant where the little girl was dining inside with her family.

The SUV crashed through a cement parking block, a metal post, and over two steps, and through a glass window before coming to a complete stop in the restaurant. Authorities say the child suffered minor injuries in the crash, and no criminal charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
