Car Crash Near Jericho Synagogue Leaves 2 Injured, Driver Pinned

JERICHO, NY — Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-car collision near Jericho Jewish Center, according to officials. The accident happened at approximately 7:45 a.m. on September 2, near the intersection of North Broadway and the Jericho Turnpike.

The crash pinned one of the drivers inside their vehicle, and emergency responders had to use hydraulic tools to remove them. The other motorist was also injured, while a baby in a car seat escaped harm.

EMS transported both drivers to nearby hospitals. North Broadway was closed for over an hour.
