Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge Reopened Following Crash

(NEW YORK, January 2020) Around 4:30 a.m. this morning, a cement truck and trailer carrying live stock crash on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. According to ABC7, the accident caused Brooklyn bound upper decks to be closed and created delays in Staten Island.
The livestock trailer driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The lanes reopened around 8:30 this morning following significant traffic.
