Woman killed by MTA bus in Brooklyn

(NEW YORK, January 2020) — A Metropolitan Transit Authority bus struck and killed a woman in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brookyln on Thursday. According to authorities, the woman had missed her stop and the driver of the bus, a B-41 bus, attempted to pull over at Flatlands and Flatbush. The woman then forced open the doors of the bus as it was moving. She then hit a pole and fell out of the bus and was run over.
The victim has not yet been identified but is believed to be in her 30s.
