When authorities arrived to the scene, the driver was no longer in the vehicle. It took police and a tow truck several hours to finally remove the car from the pedestrian lane. The car was significantly damaged in the process.

According to Eyewitness News, the car was stolen from a home in Bronxville early that same morning. Authorities are now on the hunt to find the driver of the stolen vehicle.
