UPDATE: Victim identified in Robert Moses Causeway Car Wreck

(LONG ISLAND, January 2020) — The victim in the fatal car wreck on the Robert Moses Causeway has recently been identified. The crash occurred around 6:40 AM on Thursday on the southbound portion of the bridge in Suffolk County.

Three-vehicles crashed into one another that morning, killing one and sending two others to the hospital with injuries. 19-year-old Jayden Kelly was driving a 2002 Toyota Corolla and was airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Idalecia Caleho was the operator of 2004 Ford F-150 and was sent to Good Samaritan Hospital with iternal injuries, while Kristin Kostik, driving a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was sent to the hospital but was later released.
