MERRICK, NY- Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, has rejected a plea offer from Nassau County prosecutors in her DWI case. Lohan reportedly slammed into a Honda CRV while driving her Mercedes after leaving an Outback Steakhouse in Merrick around 7 PM on January 11th. She did not stop after the accident, so the driver of the Honda followed her home.
When questioned by authorities, Lohan said that she only had one glass of wine at the steakhouse, but police officers reported that she "smelled like alcohol" and her eyes were "glassy and blooshot." When she got out of the car, she fell to the ground face-first.
Prosecutors offered her a plea deal of six months in a county jail in addition to five years probation. Lohan rejected the deal and is set to appear in court later next month.
