December 03, 2019 | Finz & Finz, P.C.
A father and son have been arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and illegal speed contest after posting dash cam footage on Instagram of a crash in the Lincoln Tunnel's North Tube.
25-year-old Chad Quinones of Hewitt, New Jersey, was originally charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of the accident. His father, 44-year-old Fred Ordine was not initially charged with a crime when the crash occurred on February 9th.
Quinones, posted dashcam footage of the wreck on Instagram on November 9th, and the video went viral online. Authorities reopened the investigation into the crash and determined that the pair were street racing illegally before the crash, so they were arrested and now face additional, more serious charges for recklessly endangering themselves and others.
