Police searching for driver after hit-and-run crash in East Harlem

HARLEM, NY - Police are still searching for a driver who fled the scene of a violent crash in East Harlem at 12:45 a.m. on Monday. The crash occurred at the intersection of East 129th Street and Park Avenue when a livery cab was T-boned by a driver in a dark sedan. Two people were injured in the crash, and one person, a 62-year-old passenger remains in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
The driver of the sedan fled from the scene, and police urge anyone who has information about this accident to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), report it online at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text the tip line at 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577.
