One driver seriously injured in wreck on Route 9 in Croton

(NEW YORK, January 2020) — One driver was seriously injured in a wreck on Route 9 in Croton at 2:47 PM on Tuesday afternoon. According to authorities, the driver crashed south of the Montrose exit and his car was launched into the woods. 

The driver was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries. The southbound side of the highway was closed for five hours after the incident.
