One dead, others injured in crash on Staten Island

(NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 2020) — 47-year-old Aureliano Garcia-Juarez was driving north in the westbound lane of the West Shore Expressway when he rammed into a passing Toyota and Ford on Sunday night.
The female passenger in Garcia-Jaurez's vehicle was killed. Another passenger in another vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition, and Garcia-Jaurez was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Garcia-Jaurez is believed to be intoxicated at the time of the accident and faces a long list of criminal charges, including vehicular manslaughter and a DWI.
