Man suffering from head trauma after crash on Southern State Parkway

(LONG ISLAND, January 2020) — 21-year-old Gerson E. Rauda-Garcia was driving eastbound in his 2005 Honda Civic Del-Sol when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into multiple trees alongside the Southern State Parkway on Sunday night.

He was immediately rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital following the crash. He was left with severe head trauma after the accident — the cause of the collision is not yet known.
