Homeless man hit and killed by elderly driver in Harlem

(NEW YORK, December 2019) — A man was lying in the right lane of 116th Street, near St. Nicholas Avenue, in Harlem when he was run over by an 81-year-old driver around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday night. The victim, who was reportedly homeless, was transported to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. 

The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
