Floral Park man killed in two-vehicle collision in Hewlett

(LONG ISLAND, December 2019) — Two cars collided at the intersection of Harris Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard around 11:30 AM on Tuesday. According to authorities, 85-year-old Bertram Wolf of Floral Park was turning left onto Harris Avenue in his 2017 BMW when he collided with a 77-year-old driver in a 2014 Dodge pickup truck.

Wolf was rushed to a nearby hospital when he was pronounced dead. The 77-year-old driver was also transported to the hospital in serious condition. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
