Drunk driver causes serious injury accident in Holbrook

(LONG ISLAND, December 2019) — Lee Kaiser Sr. was driving with his family on Veterans Memorial Highway on Sunday night when a Honda Sedan ran a stop sign on Coates Avenue and collided with his vehicle. His ten-year-old son was rushed to the hospital following the accident with serious injuries. Kaiser, his wife, and eight-year-old daughter were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Honda Sedan, Lauren Ortiz, was intoxicated at the the time of the crash. She was arrested and chargd with driving while intoxicated, according to the Suffolk County Police.
