Driver of Stolen Car Crashes in Medford

(MEDFORD, February 2020) Police say that after a car was stolen around 10 a.m. in Hauppauge, they tracked the vehicle to North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville. The theft happened on February 15th. The suspect then led police on a chase through Suffolk County. The chase ended on Horseblock Road in Medford when the suspect crashed into a tree. According to News 12 Long Island, the driver was then transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
