Driver in stolen car collides with ride-share vehicle in Queens

(NEW YORK, January 2020) — A police chase left two people with critical injuries on Tuesday evening. According to authorities, police attempted to pull over a silver vehicle (not yet identified) for running a red light. The driver of the car, however, refused to pull over and fled from police.
The driver then collided with a ride-share vehicle at 105th Street and 107th Avenue around 5:30 PM. The driver of the silver vehicle fled from the scene, but the two individuals inside of the ride-share vehicle were critically injured.
Authorities believe that the silver car may be a stolen vehicle. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
