Car accident blocks lanes on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge in Staten Island

(NEW YORK, January 2020) — Staten Island commuters can expect some travel delays this morning. A car accident on the upper level of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge has completely blocked two lanes on the upper level of the bridge around 9 AM this morning. The Metropolitan Transit Authority has advised all commuters to take the bridge's lower level.
