Off-Duty Officer Killed, Two Others Seriously Injured in Saturday Morning Crash

The New York Daily News reported on October 31, 2019, that 10 people suffered injuries when a bus on the BxM11 route on Madison Avenue rear-ended a BxM10 bus stopped at a red light. Five People injured in Five Vehicle Crash in Long Island

News 12 Long Island reported on November 5, 2019, that at least five people were injured in a five-vehicle accident in Commack that shut down the Long Island Expressway for most of the day. Police said that the driver of a 2012 Toyota Highlander westbound on the Long Island Expressway rear-ended a 2004 Honda CRV west of exit 53, causing a chain-reaction crash involving three other vehicles which Patch reported included a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica, a 2016 Mercedes 350 and a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
